the assets of Acuity Bank Adams, Mauston, Elroy and New Lisbon Branches a subsidiary of Acuity have been acquired by Royal Bancshares Inc. MERTZ ASSOCIATES acted as advisor to Acuity in preparing offering materials, contacting potential acquirers, evaluating competing indications of interest, structuring the transaction and participating in negotiations.

• ACUITY BANK is a full-service state savings and loan association with seven locations in Monroe, Adams, Juneau and Sheboygan counties. The Bank employs approximately 50 people and has total assets of over $180 million.

• ROYAL BANK, Elroy, Wisconsin, is an independent community bank, with 14 locations in central southwest Wisconsin.
