the stock of Air Logic Power Systems, Inc. and Lake Monitors, Inc. has been acquired by Total Automated Solutions, Inc. a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital MERTZ ASSOCIATES advised and assisted the shareholder of Air Logic Power Systems and Lake Monitors in preparing offering materials, designing a marketing program, evaluating proposals and participating in negotiations with the purchaser.

• AIR LOGIC POWER SYSTEMS, INC. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a leading manufacturer of in-line leak detection and vision inspection equipment for the plastic liquid container industry.
   
• LAKE MONITORS, INC., a manufacturer of mechanical flow measuring devices for fluids, was acquired by the Air Logic shareholder in 1994. Total employment is approximately 50.
   
• TOTAL AUTOMATED SOLUTIONS, INC. (TASI), Cleves, Ohio, is a holding company whose divisions and subsidiaries specialize in supplying precision test equipment and processes for a variety of industries including automotive, appliance, electronic and consumer goods components. TASI portfolio companies now include Cincinnati Test Systems, Inc., Automation Tool Company, Air Logic Power Systems, Inc. and Lake Monitors, Inc.
   
• H.I.G. CAPITAL, Miami, Florida, is a private equity and venture capital investment firm with more than $750 million of equity capital under management. H.I.G. capitalized the TASI holding company to acquire the platform company, Cincinnati Test Systems, in 1998.
