the stock of Badger Die Casting Corporation have been acquired by Northstar Holdings, Inc. MERTZ ASSOCIATES acted as advisor to Badger Die Casting Corporation in designing a selling program, preparing offering materials, contacting potential purchasers, evaluating proposals and participating in negotiations.

• BADGER DIE CASTING CORPORATION, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was founded in 1919. It makes aluminum die cast parts for original equipment manufacturers. The parts are made to customer specifications for use in the electrical components and industrial machinery/controls industries. Badger’s niche is commercial components that require close tolerances, relatively short runs and include value-added secondary machining.
   
• NORTHSTAR DIE CASTING LLC is now joined by Badger Die Casting Corp. as part of the commonly controlled group NORTHSTAR HOLDINGS, INC., a Wisconsin corporation. These combined resources will broaden both die casters’ capabilities and allow them to better serve their customers. Northstar Die Casting LLC is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was founded in 1978. It specializes in providing customers with close tolerance, defect free, precision die cast aluminum and zinc parts. Northstar also offers secondary operations such as machining and tumbling, finish coatings, assembly and packaging.
