the assets of Home Comfort Division of Bemis Manufacturing Company have been acquired by Essick Air Products, Inc. MERTZ ASSOCIATES acted as advisor to Bemis Manufacturing Company in providing an overview of strategic options, designing a marketing program, preparing offering materials, contacting potential purchasers, evaluating proposals and participating in negotiations.

• HOME COMFORT DIVISION, manufactures and markets humidifiers, air purifiers and related accessories, with a strong position in the whole-house niche of the humidifier market. The division reported approximately $12 million in sales.
   
• BEMIS MANUFACTURING COMPANY, Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, is a privately owned company that manufactures and markets a variety of proprietary consumer products as well as custom products for other OEMs. Bemis is a major North American molder and extruder of diverse captive and custom plastic products, using engineering-grade thermoplastics and commodity resins.
