the assets of Herron Testing Laboratories, Inc. have been acquired by Stork United Corporation a subsidiary of Stork N.V. MERTZ ASSOCIATES served as advisor to Stork in designing an acquisition program, contacting potential sellers, assisting with letters of intent and other related services.

• HERRON TESTING LABORATORIES, INC., was founded in 1911 and currently has operations in Cleveland, Ohio and Charlotte, North Carolina. The company performs metallurgical, chemical and mechanical testing services for a wide variety of manufacturers and distributors throughout the Midwest. Revenues are approximately $4 million and Herron employs over 60 people.
   
• STORK N.V. is a Dutch public company that supplies high-level technological products and services to the worldwide industrial community. Stork’s annual revenues are over $3 billion with about 20,000 employees.
