SPECIALTY TESTING UNIT of MAXIM TECHNOLOGIES, INC., Dallas, Texas, performs materials testing and quality assurance for customers in the industrial and building sectors. The transaction included five laboratories (two in Texas and one each in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa) employing a total of 175 people.
