the assets of Metallurgical Services Company have been acquired by Stork United Corporation a subsidiary of Stork N.V. MERTZ ASSOCIATES served as advisor to Stork in designing an acquisition program, contacting potential sellers, assisting with letters of intent and other related services.

• METALLURGICAL SERVICES COMPANY, Louisville, Kentucky, specializes in failure analysis, metallurgical testing, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, non-destructive testing and evaluation and heat treatment. Annual sales are approaching $3 million and there are approximately 25 employees.
