the assets of Tonka Cooler a division of KMT Refrigeration, Inc. part of a wholly owned subsidiary of The Manitowoc Company have been acquired by Crown Fixtures, Inc. MERTZ ASSOCIATES acted as advisor to The Manitowoc Company in preparing offering materials, providing financial analysis and participating in negotiations.

• TONKA COOLER, Greeneville, Tennessee, is the division of KMT REFRIGERATION, INC. (formerly the Shannon Group) that manufactures wood rail walk-in refrigerators and freezers for the grocery and convenience store, institution and food processor markets. Tonka has approximately 175 employees. KMT is part of a wholly owned subsidiary of The Manitowoc Company.
   
• THE MANITOWOC COMPANY, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, is a public company with over $500 million in sales. It has manufacturing and service operations in the foodservice equipment, crane and shipbuilding/shiprepair industries. Manitowoc’s refrigeration products include commercial ice making machines and food service equipment.
   
• CROWN FIXTURES, INC., Minneapolis, Minnesota, manufactures a line of walk-in coolers and freezers similar to that of Tonka. It will combine the two operations as Crown/Tonka Walk-Ins.
