the assets of Trester Service Electric Company and Electric Sales & Engineering Company have been acquired by Whitnall Corporation MERTZ ASSOCIATES acted as advisor to Whitnall Corporation in contacting the sellers, evaluating proposals, structuring the purchase agreements and participating in negotiations.

• TRESTER SERVICE ELECTRIC COMPANY and ELECTRIC SALES & ENGINEERING COMPANY, Milwaukee and New Berlin, Wisconsin, sell electric motors, drives, hoists, gearmotors and electric panels. The two companies also service, rebuild and test electric motors up to 5,000 horsepower. Sales are to industrial and electric utility customers in southeastern Wisconsin.
   
• WHITNALL CORPORATION, a Delaware Corporation consisting of private investors, simultaneously purchased both operations. Trester Service has since moved operations into Electric Sales & Engineering’s facility.
